Variable frequency drive AFV2009 series in brief …

To vary the output frequency in order to obtain the resonance condition between the output voltage of the power supply and the natural oscillation frequency of the vibrating system (coil, springs, container, etc.) with our drives you just have to act on 4 rotary switches in the front, which, from left to right, define hundreds, dozens, units and tens of Hz.

Alternatively you can modify all parameters via RS485 Modbus serial communication or with the SP090602-ENG keypad

Since this adjustment can be carried out while the system is running, within minutes you can determine the optimum frequency to get the best performance from your system.

The control circuits are powered by a switching transformer that is not affected from variations in the mains voltage and the power semiconductors that control the vibrator are protected by coil shorts and ground shorts.

Digital controls for high-performance vibrating channels

Dimensions (mm): L 125 – W 95 – H 150 up to 650W (3A) and  L 125 – W 95 – H 200 up to 2200W (6 /10A)

This family of high performance drives maintains constant output voltage when the input voltage changes and manages various operating parameters.

Automatically detects whether the supply voltage is 115 or 230 Vac and therefore adjusts the output voltage.

It has protection against short-circuits of the load and towards the ground.

They can also be controlled by PLCs, PCs or other external control logic, via Modbus RS485 serial communication (to simplify operating parameter settings).

It has the ability to use an accelerometer to keep constant vibration (in critical applications) and to automatically search for resonant frequency at startup.

GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS

  • Supply voltage from 95 to 280 Vac, (115 or 230Vac ± 15% autorange),

  • Output frequency from 10 to 140 Hz, in step of 0.1 Hz,
  • Over-load protection with self-reset circuit,
  • Protection against short-circuits of the load and ground,
  • Possibility to handle an acceleration sensor for load variations,
  • Temperature sensor for overheating control equipment,
  • Power supply signal OK or running via contact of a relay,
  • Command for blowing solenoid valve and second adjustable speed (in serial version),
  • Outbound running command with clean contact or voltage 12 ÷ 24 Vdc PNP or NPN,
  • Possibility to handle an additional PNP or NPN overload sensor,
  • Possibility to handle the flow reference with potentiometer or external voltage 0-10 Vdc,
  • Setting the minimum and maximum reference / flow reference,
  • Setting start and stop ramps (also a brake function can be selected),
  • Setting delay on departure and stop delay,
  • Setting parameters p / i for compensation of load variations,
